Meeting of Steering Committee on BEU-INHA DDP held in Korea

The next meeting of the Steering Committee on the international dual degree program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University and Inha University has been held.

Speaking at the meeting held in the Republic of Korea, BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev emphasized the work carried out within the framework of the program in the past period. Recalling that currently a total of 329 students are studying in the specialties of “Information Technologies”, “Electronics Engineering”, “Electrical Engineering” and “Civil Engineering” within the framework of the DDP, the rector added that 83 of them are continuing their education in the 4th year at Inha University. Yagub Piriyev also touched upon the problems faced by students, the organization of education, including the next graduation, and emphasized the need to initiate practical measures to solve them.

Later, BEU-INHA DDP General Director Humay Jafarli made a detailed presentation on the issues included in the agenda of the meeting. The presentation provided information to the Steering Committee members on the financial report of the previous year, the educational results for the fall semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, planned activities, and the extension of the program to new specializations.

Following other speeches and discussions, relevant decisions were made by majority vote.

It should be noted that the BEU-INHA DDP Steering Committee meeting is held twice a year, in the fall and spring sessions.
