The next meeting of the Scientific Council has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

BEU Rector, Chairman of the Scientific Council Yagub Piriyev conveyed his sincere congratulations on the occasion of Novruz and the upcoming Ramadan holidays. Later, he announced the issues on the agenda.

In accordance with the agenda, reports were heard on the “Status of work done with educational and student youth organizations at BEU”, as well as “Results of work done in the direction of relations with enterprises and career development”. Separate discussions were held around each report. The reports were considered satisfactory, taking into account the proposals and opinions of the members of the Scientific Council. 

Afterwards, the meeting discussed “Approval of the dissertation topic and scientific supervisor of foreign doctoral students for the Doctor of Philosophy” and “Rules on the anti-plagiarism system”. A positive decision was made on both issues. Moreover, based on the results of the voting held at the meeting, a decision was made to send the documents of 1 employee for the academic title of professor and 2 employees for the academic title of associate professor to Supreme Attestation Committee.

At the end, Chairman Yagub Piriyev gave a number of instructions and recommendations to the heads of the structures regarding the issues discussed.
