The last meeting of the Scientific Council for this year has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Chairing the meeting, BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev first emphasized that the year 2024, which is coming to an end, has successfully concluded for our state and people, and highly appreciated the historic steps taken by President Ilham Aliyev for the socio-economic development of our country, strengthening its authority in the international community, and the decisive decisions he made. On behalf of the team, Yagub Piriyev sincerely congratulated the head of state, who has always worked hard to protect the national interests and state interests of Azerbaijan, on his birthday. He wished President Ilham Aliyev good health for continued success and future victories.

Stating that this year was also successful for BEU, the rector touched upon the victories of university students in various competitions, and the awards of a number of employees for their achievements and fruitful activities, and conveyed his congratulations to them once again.

Later, in accordance with the agenda of the meeting, the state of preparation for the winter exam session of the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year and the upcoming tasks were discussed in detail.

At the meeting, the opinions and proposals of the council members were listened to, relevant decisions were made, and a number of tasks were given to the deans of the faculties and heads of departments.

Moreover, Yagub Piriyev also separately touched upon the scientific research results of the university in recent years and put forward his recommendations for further improvement of research.

The Scientific Council ended with a discussion of current issues.
