On September 10, the next meeting of the Scientific Council of Baku Engineering University (BEU) was held.

The meeting discussed the structural changes at BEU in detail in accordance with the agenda. After the discussions, the draft of the new structure of the university was approved.

Later, a report on the preparatory work for the 2024/2025 academic year was presented. Afterwards, opinions and suggestions regarding the report were listened to, and relevant instructions were given to the deans of faculties and heads of departments. It was decided to strengthen activities in the direction of preparing curricula and lesson schedules, open electronic journals, regularly record information on student attendance, place subject syllabi and teaching materials in the system, provide students with independent work topics in a timely manner, increase attention to the assessment of students' intra-semester activities, and strengthen control over their provision with textbooks, lessons, and electronic materials.

At the meeting, decisions were also made on exempting students with high English language proficiency from the subject "Business and Academic Communication in English 1 and 2" and assessing them accordingly, etc.
