Meeting held with students admitted to BEU-INHA DDP this year

A meeting has been organized with students and their parents who were admitted to the international dual diploma program (BEU-INHA DDP) for the 2025/2026 academic year, which is implemented at the bachelor's level of higher education between Baku Engineering University and INHA University of the Republic of Korea (South).

Speaking at the meeting, DDP Project Director Yang Hyunjin expressed his sincere congratulations to the students. He noted that this year there was strong competition in admission to the DDP and applicants with high scores was admitted to the program. Emphasizing the advantages of the program, Yang Hyunjin highlighted the students' chances of building a successful career after graduation. He positively assessed the increasing interest in technological specialties among young people, adding that this program serves their development and preparation as highly qualified personnel.

BEU-INHA DDP Director General Humay Jafarli also congratulated the students and emphasized the wide opportunities the program creates for young people to develop modern technical knowledge and skills based on international experience. Furthermore, the students were introduced to the members of the Steering Committee of the program from both countries and the DDP team, and informed that they would be closely assisted in any difficulties encountering during their studies.

Later, detailed information about the DDP was provided at the event. It was noted that the program, which has been implemented since 2020, was extended until 2030 by the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated July 22, 2025 “On additional measures to increase the international competitiveness of the higher education system in the Republic of Azerbaijan”. This year, admissions to the program were held in the specialties of “Information Technologies”, “Computer Sciences” (Artificial Intelligence Engineering), “Data Analytics” (Data Sciences), “Electrical and Electronics” engineering, and 96 percent of the allocated places were filled.

Other speakers at the event spoke in detail about innovations related to the language of instruction, requirements, organization of classes, subjects to be taught, the university's student environment, rules of discipline, and other issues.

At the end of the meeting, questions of interest to the participants were answered, and the students were wished success in the new academic year.
