A meeting has been held with the representatives of the first year group representatives of the Engineering Faculty at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Huseyn Mirzayev informed the students about the important points of the course registration. Introducing the students to the academic calendar, the dean informed about the assessment of independent work, the winter exam session. He also spoke about the activities of student clubs at the University. The dean called on students to follow the rules of current pandemic, as well as the rules of the University, and said that they should pay special attention to attendance.

H.Mirzayev also spoke about the historic victory of Azerbaijan in the 44-day Patriotic war. He noted the victory achieved at the expense of the leadership of Victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, the solidarity of the people and the determination of the brave Azerbaijani army, the blood of our martyrs and the veterans. He also highlighted the importance of the youth's being raised in a patriotic spirit

Osman Mirzayev, the deputy dean for academic affairs of the faculty, said that they should inform the dean's office about the problems that might arise. In his speech, he noted that excursions would be organized regularly to study the history of our country, including the history of Victory.

At the end of the meeting, students' questions were answered and various suggestions were made.
