An online meeting has been held between the student and teaching staff of Baku Engineering University (BEU) and specialists of the Ministry of Energy and its subordinate agencies, the Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA), as well as the State Agency on Renewable Energy Sources.

The meeting aimed to provide information resources that could be useful to students studying in the field of energy, including information about the above-mentioned institutions and their activities and job opportunities. 

Jahid Mikayilov, Head of the Public Relations Sector of the Ministry of Energy, Agha Hajizade, Head of the International and Public Relations Department of AERA, provided detailed information about the activities of the institutions they represented, including state policy in the field of fuel and energy, measures to ensure energy security, service areas, and etc. 

Tahmina Pashayeva, the Chief Specialist of AERA International and Public Relations Department, delivered a presentation on the official Internet resources and social media pages of the Ministry of Energy and AERA, and brought to the students' attention the functions of the sites and the necessary information contained there.

Furthermore, Khayala Gurbanova, Sector Manager of the Civil Service and Human Resources Department of Ministry of Energy, spoke about career planning and ways to find a job.

At the meeting, attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of BEU, associate professor Huseyn Mirzayev, the Head of the Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy, professor Ramiz Humbatov, the students' questions were answered.
