Measures strengthened at BEU to protect the health and safety of the staff

Baku Engineering University (BEU) continues medical-prophylactic and disinfection measures to protect the health and safety of the staff during the pandemic. Thus, various surface disinfectants and cleaning products, protective clothing, as well as alcohol-based hand sanitizers were purchased for high-level and continuous implementation of works in this direction.

The decisions and recommendations of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers are strictly followed at BEU. According to the instructions of the rector of the University, Professor Havar Mammadov, a limited number of employees were involved in the university during the quarantine period. Most works are done remotely; direct communication is completely restricted; mutual interaction with online applications, e-mail and other means is created.

Moreover,  employees were not allowed to enter the university without medical masks. Employees are admitted to the university only with a medical mask after their temperatures are measured with an electronic thermometer, physical distance is expected and personal hygiene rules are strictly monitored.

It should be noted that in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as to protect the health of the University staff, it was decided to carry out weekly disinfection at BEU.
