Mustafa Abbasbayli, the Chairman of the Managing Board of the Azerbaijan Public Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, and the agency's employees have visited Baku Engineering University (BEU). 

The management team of the agency visited the university's campus, Technopark, mechanics, chemistry, electronics and ICT laboratories, as well as the dormitory, and were closely interested in the existing conditions.

BEU Rector Yagub Piriyev gave detailed information about the wide possibilities of the university's modern laboratories, the scientific research conducted here, as well as the works carried out for the realization of students' innovative initiatives and startups in the Technopark of the higher education institution. Speaking about the planned innovations and new specialties to be opened, the rector also emphasized the measures taken at the university to train necessary specialists for the labor market, develop university-industry cooperation, and increase the employment level of graduates.

During the introduction to the higher education institution, the issues of employment of students and graduates, cooperation in the direction of providing jobs according to their qualifications, and modern, new approaches applied by the Public Employment Agency in this direction in recent years were reviewed. Moreover, a wide range of ideas were exchanged regarding the development of students' business skills, the startups and incubation center currently available at the university, and joint innovative projects.

Mustafa Abbasbayli noted that BEU has a wide potential, shared his positive impressions and expressed his views on possible directions of future cooperation.
