Team of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has taken the first place in “What? Where? When?" intellectual game held among university students under the organization of the Republican Committee of Free Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Education Workers.
The awards ceremony of the winners of “What? Where? When?" intellectual game was held on February 22. Speaking at the event, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee of Free Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Education Workers Mirza Jafarzada congratulated the winning teams and wished them success in education.
Later, the winners, the teams of BEU (I place), Azerbaijan State University of Economics (II place) and Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (III place), were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts.
It should be noted that students from 19 universities participated in the knowledge contest, which consisted of 3 rounds. According to the results of the final stage of the knowledge contest, the BEU team (Aghasaf Maharramov, Ruhid Javadli, Shahmurad Mammadov, Sayyar Gurbanov, Abuzar Khudaverdiyeva, Jamil Iskandarli) led by the chairperson of the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) Rayakhanim Aghazada held the first place.
