An infosession has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) on the “Maarifchi” student-graduate internship program, implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Education (MES) and with the support of the Education Development Foundation.
At the infosession, Sema Aliyeva, a specialist from the Public Relations and Communication Department of the MES, provided students with detailed information about the program and the application procedures. She noted that the program aims to create internship opportunities for students and recent graduates, improve their knowledge and skills, apply their theoretical knowledge in a real work environment, and gain professional skills. Students who are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, studying in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or master’s degree, as well as graduates who have completed their education within the last 3 years, can apply to the program. Participants selected within the framework of the next “Maarifchi” internship program, which will last 4 months, will have the opportunity to do internships in various structural divisions and subordinate organizations of the ministry, regional education departments, as well as the Ministry of Education of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The event brought to attention the results of the I and II internship programs held last year, as well as statistical information on the participants who were provided with jobs within the framework of these programs.
At the end of the infosession, students were invited to take advantage of the opportunities created by the III “ Maarifchi” student-graduate internship program, the registration process of which began on April 9, and their questions were clarified.
