An information session has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) by the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center operating under the Innovation and Digital Development Agency.

At the event, which was attended by students of the university's Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies, Vusal Suleymanli, the head of BEU Technopark, first provided information about the work done in the field of technology and innovation at the higher education institution. At the same time, he said that the goal of organizing the event was to educate students in the field of cybersecurity, familiarize them with training and career opportunities, as well as to increase their knowledge and skills for future professional development.

Later, mentors of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center - Nemat Rahimli, Mehriban Karimova and Abdulvahab Poladzada made a presentation on the topic. The presentations covered the activities of the center and the training programs it implements, as well as the new training, registration for which was announced open from April 7, the directions of this training and the certification and practical knowledge opportunities provided for participants.

It was also emphasized at the event that cooperation between the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center and BEU and joint initiatives aimed at increasing the interest of young people in this field would continue.

At the end of the presentation session, students' questions were answered.
