Information about artificial intelligence trends provided in BEU faculty trainings

The trainings organized by Inha University of South Korea for the faculty of Baku Engineering University (BEU) continue.

In the next trainings, the participants were provided with detailed information about activities of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center, as well as about ML infrastructure, Computer Vision, NLP, Speech processing, Multimodal learning. Training participants gained theoretical and practical knowledge of the basic concepts of the Python programming language, data types, functions, classes, and libraries such as pandas, numpy, matplotlip, and plotly, which are most commonly used for data processing and visualization in data analysis.

Furthermore, training topics include algorithms used for data classification, classification evaluation, accuracy improvement, big data technologies, their application in transportation, healthcare, and industry, as well as their use in transportation optimization in Korea, data clustering techniques, evaluation of clustering algorithms and linear regression algorithms.

The trainings, attended by 7 academic staff of BEU teaching Information technologies will end on August 19. It is one of the main parts of the dual diploma program between BEU and Inha University. The goal is to realize the exchange of mutual experience, provide a special educational program for professors and teachers, as well as to achieve further development of their knowledge and skills.
