At Baku Engineering University (BEU), an information session has been held for students on the promotion of the "Society of Chemical Engineers-SChE" organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering.

Speakers of the event said that the society is a platform that unites students studying in "Chemical Engineering" and pays close attention to their projects and interesting ideas. It was noted that all kinds of conditions are created at BEU for students' research-oriented searches, increasing their knowledge and skills, as a result of which, university teams with their startups have achieved success in national and international level competitions, and the chemical engineers of the future have the potential to participate in such competitions and be successful.

It was also pointed out that the preparation group for the International Chemistry Olympiad will be created at BEU in the near future, and added that the group will be open to both schoolchildren and university students living in Absheron region.

Later, there was the introduction of the society. It was reported that during the two years of its establishment, the society has implemented a number of projects, including organizing various trainings, forums, and meetings with well-known engineers to improve the knowledge and skills of students of the "Chemical Engineering" specialty. Taking into account that the development of each chemical engineer as a successful employee depends on him seeing many plants and factories, the society organized student excursions to various enterprises.

During the information session, it was said that students can discuss the lessons taught to them together and share research ideas on such a platform.

At the end of the event, students' questions were answered.
