An individual creative exhibition of Aygun Ilyasova, a teacher of the Design Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU), a young artist and designer, entitled "Awakening" has been held at the International Mugham Center.

At the exhibition dedicated to the artist's 30th anniversary, works in realistic and abstract styles were displayed. The event was attended by BEU staff, well-known public figures of our country, prominent artists, art representatives.

During the speeches, the importance of the exhibition, as well as  a great contribution of handicrafts of A. Ilyasova to the art of Azerbaijan were emphasized. Moreover, it was noted that the young artist has great creative potential.

Later, it was mentioned that the main symbol of the exhibition is the "Simurg" bird. "Simurg" is a symbol of awakening, burning and rebirth, as well as continuing life in a more perfect form.

The exhibition was welcomed by visitors.
