Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the teaching process at Baku Engineering University (BEU) is being successfully implemented through the Google Classroom LMS (Learning Management System), a distance learning platform. The vast majority of BEU students use this platform and are involved in online learning. In general, 86% of university classes were organized online, and 82% of students attended these classes.

Thus, 230 lessons at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences were developed on the Google Classroom platform, and about 200 online lessons were organized in one week, which covered 87% of the opened classes. The number of students participating in the classroom was 1467 people (89%).

282 lessons on Education Faculty were developed on Google Classroom platform. During the week, 256 online classes were held, which was 91% of the classes opened. The number of students participating in the classroom was 4391 people (77.5%).

181 lessons in Architecture and Construction Faculty were developed on the Google Classroom platform, and 145 online lessons were held in the last week, which was 80% of the opened lessons. The number of students participating in the classroom was 620 (76%).

It should be noted that all classes are supervised by officials of faculties and departments. In addition, the vast majority of videos of classes are recorded, taking into account students who are unable to attend online classes.
