Graduation ceremony held for BEU-INHA DDP students in Korea

A graduation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic year graduates of the Baku Engineering University and Inha University (BEU-INHA DDP) with full state scholarship has been organized in the Republic of Korea.

The ceremony, attended by INHA University faculty and alumni, began with the playing of the National Anthems of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea.

At the event, Voonghee Kim, Vice-Rector for Research and External Relations of the university, and Eunwook Chang, Deputy Dean of the Global Education Project Group, presented the "Honor" certificate to 3 out of 83 graduates of the 4th year at Inha University - Elton Satiyev (Information Technology), Shahana Miraliyeva (Electrical Engineering), Medina Nurizade (Electronics Engineering), and the "Student Representative" certificate to Shahana Miraliyeva and Murad Ibrahimli (Information Technology).

Later, Voonghee Kim and Eunwook Chang congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future careers.

Graduates Amani Sultanov (Civil Engineering) and Narmin Teymurlu (Electronics Engineering) spoke on behalf of the students.

The event ended with a traditional “hat toss” ceremony.

After the 83 Inha graduates return to Baku, a defense process is expected at BEU. After the defense, the students will receive 2 diplomas and a “Graduation Day” will be held at BEU.

A total of 319 students are studying within the BEU-INHA international dual diploma program based on the 3+1 model. They have the right to study for 3 years at BEU and 1 year at Inha University.

This year, another 114 students are expected to leave for Korea to continue their studies at INHA University. Students' living, educational, travel and insurance expenses are covered within the framework of the "State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023".
