A meeting has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with first-year students admitted to the Engineering Faculty of the University.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Associate Professor Huseyn Mirzayev congratulated the students on entering the University and touched upon the main tasks for the new academic year.

H. Mirzayev informed the students about the material and technical base of the University. Speaking about the general education system, the dean of the faculty noted the assessment of student knowledge, types of scholarships and forms of their issuance, the organization of exams. He gave information about the University's Student Information System (SIS) and its use, course registration. Morever, he acquainted students with the organization of education with the credit system, as well as the rules of discipline at the University. Emphasizing that BEU has a rich library that meets modern standards, the dean of the faculty added that there is also an electronic library.

Students' questions were answered at the event.

 After the meeting, the students got acquainted with the activities of  Automatic Control Laboratory, Mechanisms and Machine Dynamics Laboratory, Materials and Metallography Laboratory, Material Resistance Laboratory of BEU.
