Meeting has been held on  “Support to strengthening higher education in Azerbaijan” Twinning project in the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Baku Engineering University, prof. Hamzaga Orujov participated in event.

   The agenda of the meeting included the preparation of new subject program having appropriate competence for the students of mathematics education department.

     In the framework of the mission, experts met with academic staff of mathematics education department at BEU, and made discussion on the revision of those standarts. The importance of the views of the secondary school mathematics teachers and university students was brought to the attention.  The guests suggested the cooperation between University of Latvia and BEU in the direction of subject program preparation of mathematics education.

    The delagation got acquainted with material-technical base, laboratories, ICT center of the University.
