Excursion has been organized to historical, cultural and heritage architectural monuments of Azerbaijan located in Lakit village of Gakh district under the leadership of teachers of Architecture and Design Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Agil Kazimov, Azar Abbasov and chairman of the student club "Architecture and Construction" Dashdamir Bayramov.

During the excursion for the last year students studying in the English section of the Department, the town-planning position, photos, current situation, material concept and application of area planned as a historic small town were collected and documented for future scientific and diploma work and submitted to the Department.

The students visited the "Temple-5th century world-famous architectural monument" and got acquainted with the current situation. The students also studied the area and conducted research using historical sources.

BEU teachers used their experience to inform students about the practical study, preservation and cultural heritage of our historical monuments.
