An excursion to the "Radio-Television Broadcasting and Satellite Communication" Production Union ("Teleradio" PU) has been organized for the students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) studying radio engineering and telecommunication engineering.

During the tour held under the leadership of Professor of the Department of Automation, Telecommunications and Energy  Islam Islamov, the head of the Baku Telegülla Radio-Television Broadcasting Station Bahruz Mursalov introduced the fields of terrestrial analog radio broadcasting (FM), digital radio broadcasting (DAB+), terrestrial digital television broadcasting (DVB-T/T2), satellite broadcasting of radio-television programs (DVB-S/S2), digital radio communication, IP TV service, antenna-feeder systems to students. Moreover, he gave extensive information on how to organize technical service work for the equipment of private radio and TV companies, mobile operators, radio communication users.

B. Mursalov also touched upon the measures implemented in the direction of ensuring the safety of air space in the country. He said that broadcasts from Shusha, Minjivan, Khanlig, Shahyeri and Lachin stations were restored in our territories freed from occupation, as well as local broadcasts were provided in the center of Kalbajar region.

The excursion ended with answering the questions of the students.
