The winter examination session of the fall semester of the current academic year at Baku Engineering University (BEU) is in the center of attention of the university administration.
The Rector of BEU, professor Havar Mammadov, who closely followed the exam process, which have been going on for the fourth week, had a sincere conversation with the students and listened to their opinions about the exam process. Emphasizing the conditions created for the objective evaluation of students' knowledge and skills, the Rector noted that the exams at BEU were organized in a completely transparent manner based on the existing normative documents and in accordance with the instructions. Havar Mammadov added that a total of 1,100 exams had been held so far, and wished the students success in their future activities.
The Rector also got acquainted with the activities of the Headquarters and Appeals Commission, which was created to monitor the process of the exam session, promptly investigate incoming complaints, code and check answer sheets, and gave relevant recommendations to the employees.
A total of 1402 exams will be held at BEU during the exam session scheduled to end on February 1. Students who are dissatisfied with the results of the exams held so far have been given every opportunity to appeal to the Appeals Commission, and every received appeal has been carefully considered and objectively investigated.
