An event dedicated to the scientific-research activity of the Faculty of Engineering has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

Delivering a report, the Dean of the Faculty Huseyn Mirzayev gave detailed information about the articles published in authoritative scientific databases, scientific events, scientific research works, construction of new laboratories, as well as the work done by the Student Scientific Society. Touching upon the relevant statistical instructions for the faculty and emphasizing the importance of scientific-research works in the activity of the university, the Dean also drew attention to the work to be done during the current year.

Noting the important points related to the scientific-research activity of BEU for the past year Elchin Suleymanov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the university, pointed out the work done by the Faculty of Engineering in terms of the number of publications in textbooks, teaching aids, and journals with impact factor. Highlighting that the results of BEU employees in the world's most famous scientific databases (Web of Science and Scopus) improved, the Vice-Rector mentioned that positive dynamics in this direction were recorded every year owing to the purposeful work done. 

Taking into account the main issues related to future activities, E. Suleymanov recommended the active participation of the employees of the Faculty of Engineering in the international conferences planned to be held at the university this year.

Further strengthening of the faculty's scientific activity and future tasks in this regard were widely discussed at the event.

At the end, the employees of the faculty, distinguished by their scientific activity, were awarded “Certificate of Appreciation”.
