The Ministry of Energy and AERA meet with BEU students

The Ministry of Energy and Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) have held an online meeting with students of Engineering Faculty (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Power Systems Engineering) of Baku Engineering University (BEU). The meeting, which was of a networking nature, was attended by officials of the above-mentioned institutions and the academic staff of the University.

Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Manafaddin Namazov, and Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Associate Professor Elchin Suleymanov made opening speeches at the event. During the speeches, information was provided about the University, as well as the dual degree program implemented between BEU and Inha University in Korea in the Departments of Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering.

Then the heads of public relations sectors of the Ministry of Energy and AERA Jahid Mikayilov and Gunel Ahmadova made presentations. The presentations included detailed information about the activities of both government agencies, the reforms implemented in the field of energy and energy regulation in our country in recent years, and the works done. In his speech, the ministry official J. Mikayilov also spoke about the energy supply of the liberated lands of Azerbaijan.

Moreover, the presentations presented the social network accounts of both the ministry and the agency, information that could be useful for students on the Internet resources of both institutions, and annual reports.

Khayala Gurbanova, Head of the Civil Service Sector and Human Resource Department of the Ministry of Energy, also informed the participants about career planning and job search.

At the event, the Dean of Engineering Faculty, Associate Professor Huseyn Mirzayev, Director of BEU Technopark Elchin Gurbanov and others made various effective proposals on future cooperation.
