Vice-rector of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Professor Murad Omarov has visited Baku Engineering University(BEU). Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov highlighted that relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan were at a high level owing to the policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev.

   Noting the cooperation between the two universities, the Rector informed the guest about the activities, material-technical base, scientific and academic staff potential as well as international relations, development strategy of the University.

  Professor M. Omarov spoke about Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, besides the cooperation opportunities with BEU.   He said that 8,000 students were studying at the University. About 1000 students are foreigners from 50 countries. Education is in Russian, Ukrainian and English. M. Omarov added that he was interested in the implementation of student-teacher exchange programs, joint conferences and projects with BEU.

   During the meeting, sides exchanged views on the signing Memorandum on dual master’s degree program between BEU and Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
