Discussions held within Erasmus + KA2 project

   Samir Guliyev, Head of the Department of Public Administration at Baku Engineering University (BEU), Arif Najimov, Head of the International Relations and Project Management Department, have attended a meeting organized in Tbilisi, Georgia within the Erasmus + KA2 project “Promoting Migration Studies in Higher Education” (PROMIG).

   At the meeting held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University discussed the work carried out by the project partner universities and the planning of future events, as well as the administrative and academic issues to be taken within the project.

    Khazar University, University of Oldenburg (Germany), University of Graz (Austria), University of Alicante (Spain), Kabul University and Tabesh University (Afghanistan) participated in the project implemented under the leadership of Tbilisi State University.

   The next meeting within the project was held at BEU. The meeting was attended by BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Manafaddin Namazov, Head of International Relations and Project Management Department Arif Najimov, lecturer of Public Administration Department Anar Iskandarov, coordinator of Tbilisi State University and current project Nino Parsadanishvili, employee of Georgian Institute of Public Affairs Irina Bakradze , employee of the National Erasmus + Office in Azerbaijan Zafar Hasanov, and employee of Khazar University, another project partner from Azerbaijan, Ulker Bayramova.

   The meeting discussed the current state of implementation of the current project, the existing difficulties and solutions, and recommended new proposals for the university administration.

   It should be noted that BEU, as a partner university, is actively involved in many EU-funded projects. One of these projects is the Erasmus + KA2 project “Promoting Migration Studies in Higher Education” (PROMIG).
