A meeting was held at the State Agency for Science and Higher Education (EATDA) with a delegation led by the rector of Baku Engineering University (BEU) Yagub Piriyev.

The meeting discussed the dynamics of BEU's indicators in a number of priority areas, especially the results of scientific and research activities and the level of internationalization.

The director of the agency Ulkar Sattarova emphasized the special role of the above-mentioned priority areas in improving the global competitiveness of higher education institutions.

Rector Yagub Piriyev provided information on the projects implemented in relevant areas at BEU and the activities planned for implementation.

During the meeting, issues related to the use of advanced scientometric tools, increasing the number of foreign teachers and students, supporting students studying within the framework of international education grants and intergovernmental scholarship programs, and participation in prestigious international academic events were discussed.
