A meeting of the students of Engineering Faculty studying transport specialties with Ulvi Ojagli, the director of “Sara Logistics”, a member of the “Azera Holding” group of companies, has been organized at Baku Engineering University (BEU).

At the event, which was also attended by employees of the Logistics and Transport Department, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Asif Guliyev noted that the meeting of the head of the company, BEU graduate, with the students was important in terms of familiarizing themselves with the work done in the field of logistics in our country and the successes achieved.

Later, speaking at the event, the director of the company Ulvi Ojagli provided extensive information about “Azera Holding”. It was emphasized that the holding has been operating in the private sector of the country for about 20 years and unites 36 companies established in agriculture, healthcare, service, freight transportation, food, travel, tourism, as well as other areas. The speech also highlighted that “Sara Logistics” provides cargo transportation as well as storage services within the holding, is one of the 5 main freight transportation operators on the railways in Azerbaijan, and has taken a leading position in the field of freight transportation on the railways in recent years. He also provided necessary information about the prospects of “Sara Logistics” in railway transportation, the North-South and West-East transport corridors, the importance of these corridors for the countries of the region, especially Azerbaijan, as well as the work done in this area.

During the meeting, it was pointed out that 9 students studying logistics and transport technologies are currently undergoing internships at “Sara Logistics” company, and 3 people have been invited to work.

At the end, the questions of interest to the students were answered.
