Acceptance of documents for the International Dual Degree Program (BEU-INHA DDP) implemented between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Inha University of the Republic of Korea for engineering specialties within the framework of the "State Program for Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023" and exam dates have been announced.
So, for the 2023/2024 academic year, online registration for the International Dual Degree Program, which is implemented by BEU and the prestigious higher education institution Inha University at the undergraduate level, will take place from June 5 to August 9, 2023.
The 4-year undergraduate program in English and Korean language includes Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering.
Based on the 3+1 model, the teaching of the program is planned for 3 years at BEU and 1 year at Inha University. At the end of the study period, both BEU and Inha University will present diplomas at the bachelor's level to the students in the specialty they have studied.
The costs of 1-year full-time education and 3-week summer school participation in the Republic of Korea, as well as tuition fees, registration costs, educational materials and access to electronic information resources are covered by the "2019-2023 State Program". The knowledge and skills that the graduates of the program will acquire will cover the fields of engineering, research, international education, analysis and development in the 4 mentioned specialties.
Within the framework of the 2023/2024 academic year, it is planned to admit 35 people in Information technology, 35 in Electronics engineering, 28 Electrical engineering, and 25 in Civil engineering.
Admission to the International Dual Degree Program is based on the results of the entrance exams (undergraduate level) held by the State Examination Center (SEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the internal examination organized by Inha University. Applicants of the 1st specialty group who are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and have successfully passed the State Examinations in 2023 (candidates who have obtained the appropriate passing score determined for each specialty of the BEU-INHA DDP) can participate in the BEU-INHA DDP. Furthermore, candidates who have applied to the program must also successfully pass the written internal exam in Mathematics, Physics and English, jointly organized by BEU and Inha University. In order to participate in the internal exam, candidates must enter the required documents in the “online questionnaire form” (will be active from June 5.) The last date of receipt of documents is 09.08.2023 at 23:55.
The internal exam for admission to BEU-INHA DDP will be held on August 12. The exam results will be announced on August 17.
