Head of Public Administration Department of Baku Engineering University (BEU), Ph.D. in History, Associate Professor Samir Guliyev has taken part in an international symposium on "Turkish-Armenian relations in the early twentieth century" in Turkey. The symposium, organized by the Turkish Historical Society and Igdir University, was attended by scientists and experts across the world.

     Assoc.prof. Guliyev delivered a lecture entitled "The Armenian factor in international competition over Azerbaijani oil in 1918-1920." The crimes committed by Armenians in Azerbaijan and Turkey in 1918-1920 and the events they caused were brought to attention with historical facts.

     As part of the event, assoc.prof. S. Guliyev held detailed discussions on the topic.
