The delegation of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has visited Beihang University in Beijing as part of a business trip to the People's Republic of China.

Welcoming the BEU delegation, the leadership of Beihang University provided detailed information about the higher education institution. It was noted that the university, specializing in computer science and engineering, has been conducting advanced research for more than 50 years. Beihang University is distinguished by its research-oriented activities, strong laboratories, and participation in prestigious Chinese programs.

 BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul informed the leadership of Beihang University about the specialties taught at BEU, laboratories necessary for research, technical capabilities for the development of startups, the university's strengthening position in international rankings, etc. The Vice-Rector noted the relations established between BEU and Chinese universities, touching upon possible areas of cooperation with Beihang University in this regard.

Later, areas of mutual interest between the two universities were discussed. A wide exchange of views was held on the implementation of joint projects, student and teacher exchanges, internship programs, development of training opportunities, as well as the creation of dual diploma programs. During the meeting, the prospects of signing a memorandum of understanding between the parties and implementing mutually beneficial initiatives in the future were brought to the attention, and a preliminary agreement was reached to strengthen cooperation.
