An online meeting was held between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Sulu State University, one of the prestigious higher education institutions of the Republic of the Philippines.
BEU's Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul presented detailed information about the university's activities, international relations, dual degree programs implemented with Chinese and South Korean universities, student exchange opportunities, and future development plans.
Subsequently, Sulu State University's Rector, Professor Charisma S. Ututalum, delivered a presentation about the history, academic directions, faculties, and international relations of the educational institution he leads. It was reported that the university is one of the Philippines' leading state higher education institutions. The university conducts personnel training in the fields of engineering, natural sciences, pedagogy, business, and information technologies. At the same time, the university places great importance on international cooperation and establishes partnership relations with higher education institutions from various countries.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was conducted around important directions such as developing relations between BEU and Sulu State University, implementing joint projects, and organizing student and faculty exchange programs. In the discussions, the parties expressed their mutual interest in strengthening cooperation and implementing joint initiatives.
