A preliminary meeting has been held at the Baku Engineering University (BEU) Center on work with enterprises and career on the prospects of cooperation with Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan. 

The meeting discussed the expansion of cooperation in the field of information technologies and digitalization, the involvement of a group of teachers and students in the ICT direction in the trainings to be held by Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan in the field of artificial intelligence and 5G technologies, the exchange of experience, as well as the implementation of joint projects aimed at the development of education and infrastructure in this area.

A preliminary agreement was also reached on the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between BEU and Huawei Technologies Azerbaijan. It is planned to sign the document in the near future with the participation of the management of both parties and prepare an action plan covering specific areas of cooperation.

It should be noted that BEU closely cooperates with prestigious universities and enterprises in China and will begin implementing a dual diploma program with Beijing University of Chemical Technology from the new academic year. BEU, successfully implementing the state-university-industry cooperation model, is also strengthening partnerships with international companies.
