Cooperation agreement signed between BEU and two structures of ANAS

    A cooperation agreement has been signed between Baku Engineering University, Center for Strategic Scientific Research of ANAS and Institute of Management Systems of ANAS.

     Speaking at the event, Rector of the University, professor Havar Mammadov noted that rapid acquisition of the international competition principles in all spheres of society was required for the sustainable development of each country in the modern world: “Appropriate works are being carried out at the University in accordance with the socio-economic policy pursued by the President Ilham Aliyev in the direction of the development of intellectual capital and the formation of the information society in our country. Technopark and Innovation Center of the University support the development of innovation, as well as innovative entrepreneurship and startups.”

   The Rector pointed out that BEU played an important role in the formation of innovation ecosystem, and the development of startups, as well as cooperates with various companies in this field: “BEU pays special attention not only to the educational process, but also to conducting scientific research, organizing researches in the direction of solving current global problems in the world, and integrating them into the educational process.” Referring to the cooperation between BEU and the so-called institutions of the ANAS, H. Mammadov said that the cooperation would serve to the educational process, integration of science, acquisition of new knowledge by the students, obtaining and commercializing new scientific results. Moreover, it will contribute to the strengthening of the innovation ecosystem which is considered one of the most important perspectives of collaborative reform and the development of innovative entrepreneurship. 

    Head of Center for Strategic Scientific Research of ANAS, Doctor of Political Sciences Fatali Abdullayev emphasized that innovation, as well as innovative entrepreneurship and startups developed at BEU at a high level: “The cooperation with BEU will contribute to the overall development of our work. We will try to create the necessary conditions for students participating in the projects. Moreover, we will have an opportunity to use your modern labs. I believe that our cooperation will contribute to the development of this field in our country besides the parties.”

    Director of the Institute of Management Systems of ANAS, academician Telman Aliyev said in his speech that the cooperation would be successful. He added that all three parties had sufficient scientific and practical potential. Thanks to this cooperation new innovative research works will be conducted, as well as new technologies will be developed.

    Later, Rector of BEU, Professor Havar Mammadov, Head of Center for Strategic Scientific Research of ANAS, Doctor of Political Sciences Fatali Abdullayev and Director of the Institute of Management Systems of ANAS, academician Telman Aliyev signed a cooperation agreement.

    Agreement aims to organize material-technical, scientific, methodological and organizational events in the training of specialists and dissemination of knowledge, conduct fundamental and applied researches in the various fields and directions, development of new technologies, as well as apply the obtained scientific results in the educational process and various industries.

    The document reflected (strengthening and expanding the educational base, organizing joint scientific and practical activities, joint participation in education projects, preparing scientific works, teaching and educational methodological resources, providing students' participation in summer internship programs, organizing courses within relevant areas of activity directions, conducting joint scientific researches for the solution of current industry problems ,implementing projects)  the joint cooperation in many directions.

     At the end, the guests got acquainted with the material and technical base of the University.
