Congratulations from BEU Rector, Professor Havar Mammadov on October 5 – World Teacher’s Day

 Dear lecturers!

I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of October 5 - World Teacher"s Day and wish you success in your sacred, honorable as well as responsible pedagogical activity!

Teaching has always been considered a holy and dignified profession, treated respectfully and teacher’s labor has been highly appreciated since teachers are those who have always served cultural development and moral evolution of a society. Educated and knowledgeable people develop society as a result of teachers’ hard work. Regardless of our position, teachers have a great and indispensable role in our growth as worthy citizens.

National Leader Heydar Aliyev always highly appreciated teacher’s labor highlighting the name of teacher to be the highest one: “The name of teacher is the highest name in the world and I, personally don’t know the name higher than the teacher”. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a worthy successor of Great Leader, has highly appreciated the teachers and teaching profession as well as called teachers the elite of the society. It is an undeniable fact that the reputation of the teacher in the society is increasing owing to the attention and care of the leader of our country to the education, and appropriate steps are taken to improve their welfare.

The goverment’s care towards education is experienced at Baku Engineering University too. In the recent years, events on improving the quality of education , fostering scientific activity, developing human resources, as well as improving the working conditions for teachers at our university have been yielding positive results. However, we should also strengthen our joint activities by using our resources efficiently.

Dear lecturers, I sincerely congratulate you and wish each of you good health and new achievements in your honorable activity!
