A training on the topic of “Career Planning” has been jointly organized by Baku Engineering University (BEU) Department on work with enterprises and career and the “Career Club” under the Student Trade Union Committee.

Making opening speeches at the training organized for students of the Faculty of Engineering, Dean Asif Guliyev and Head of the Department on work with enterprises and career Gulchohra Ibrahimova stated that such events were useful for young people wanting to start their working life.

Later, the trainers - recruitment specialists of “Azersun Holding” Mursel Mursalli and Orkhan Yahyayev made a speech on the topic “Successful personnel or the right profession? Through the eyes of human resources”.

The speeches emphasized the importance of choosing the right profession, as well as information on the recruitment process, adapting to a new work environment, and general career planning. Moreover, necessary points about preparing CVs and interview rules for starting work were touched upon. Talking about creating a Linkedin profile and its advantages, the company employees shared their work experience and gave the students a number of useful recommendations.

At the end, the questions of the training participants were clarified.
