A Career Fair has been held at Baku Engineering University (BEU) with joint organization of the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Business Entities and Clubs.
Familiarizing with the fair, the rector of BEU emphasized the importance of the fair, which provides students and graduates with job and internship opportunities, as well as the opportunity to establish professional communication with human resources specialists of various companies. Highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation between higher education institutions and industrial enterprises in terms of supporting students' business ideas and providing graduates with employment, the rector said that more than 50 state and private enterprises announced about 1,000 active vacancies and internship programs at the fair. Calling on students and graduates to take advantage of these opportunities, Yagub Piriyev added that the Department on work with enterprises and career operates at BEU, and drew attention to the work done and innovations to be implemented to provide graduates with employment.
The rector, who inspected all the stands displayed at the exhibition, talked with representatives of companies and students, and was closely interested in the vacancies and internship programs presented.
During the exhibition, which was attended by about 2,000 people, students and graduates communicated with companies and submitted their CVs for suitable vacancies.
It should be noted that BP, SOCAR, State Employment Agency, “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC, Kapital Bank, PASHA Bank, International Bank, Bank of Baku, Yelo Bank, Bank Respublika, “Veyseloglu” LLC, Baku Metro, Agricultural Insurance Fund, Caspian Shipping Company, “Azersun Holding” LLC, Sumgayit Technologies Park, SOCAR Polymer, “Araz Supermarket”, Azertexnolayn, “Azerbaijan Coca-Cola Bottlers” LLC, Inci Group of Companies and other reputable companies participated in the exhibition.
