A presentation of the book "Roads Leading to Western Azerbaijan" by Professor Shikar Gasimov, Doctor of Historical Sciences and professor at the Department of General Subjects at Baku Engineering University (BEU), was held.  

In her opening speech at the event, Head of the Department Humeyra Mustafayeva emphasized the importance of the policy currently being implemented in our country regarding the return of Western Azerbaijanis to their historical lands, noting that the book serves as a valuable source on this topic from both scientific and public perspectives.

Subsequently, the author of the book, Professor Shikar Gasimov, provided detailed information about the purpose of writing the work, the directions of the research, and facts concerning the deportation history of Western Azerbaijanis.

During the presentation, speakers including Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at BEU Asif Guliyev, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction Namig Abbasov, Professor at the Department of General Subjects Abbas Seyidov, Senior Lecturer Elnur Najiyev, and other participants highlighted the scientific significance of the book and its relevance in shedding light on the historical realities of Western Azerbaijan.  

During the discussions, it was noted that researching the Western Azerbaijan issue and conveying it to the younger generation holds special importance, while the necessity of presenting the facts more extensively on international scientific platforms was also emphasized.
