The book "Azerbaijan's economy: macroeconomic analysis" co-authored by Elchin Suleymanov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Baku Engineering University (BEU), has been published.

The book, published on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was intended for a wide audience. The book, which studied various aspects of our economy and was elegantly designed, was recommended for publication as a textbook by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, one of the leading universities in the country. The book, consisting of 13 chapters and 406 pages, conducted macroeconomic analysis of the Azerbaijani economy and analyzed the country's economic development.

Another co-author of the textbook is Farhad Rahmanov, a professor at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. The reviewers are the Rector of Azerbaijan Technical University, Doctor of Economic Science, professor Vilayat Valiyev and the head of the Department of Economics at Baku State University, Doctor of Economic Science, professor Vahid Abbasov.

It is envisaged to upload the electronic version of the 15th book of BEU associate professor to the scientific resource databases and donate several copies to the libraries of the leading universities of the country.

Of note, E. Suleymanov is the author of 1 textbook in Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish and English, 9 teaching aids and 5 monographs by the decision of the scientific council of 5 different universities, as well as about 100 scientific articles, most of which are published abroad. There are more than 500 references to his works. BEU Vice-Rector, an expert of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), The Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) and the World Economic Survey since 2015, is also the author of reports in Azerbaijan in several publications of the organizations.

His articles were published in different impact factor journal, including “Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews”, “Economic Modelling”, “Environmental Science and Pollution Research”, “Economies , International Journal of Knowledge and Learning”, “The Romanian Statistical Review”, “Expert Journal of Economics”, “International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanity Studies”, “Academic Journal of Economic Studies”. Some of these journals have a Scopus impact factor of over 30, which is one of the highest rates in impact journals published in the social sciences in Azerbaijan. EşSuleymanov also reviewed many articles as a reviewer of about 10 scientific journals included in the Web of Science and Scopus system.
