The team of Baku Engineering University (BEU) has participated in futsal competitions among students of higher and secondary educational institutions.

The main purpose of the championship is to ensure the popularity of futsal among students, the selection of promising student football players for the national teams of teenagers and youth, as well as the establishment of friendly relations.

 BEU competed in Group E with teams from other universities (Baku State University, Azerbaijan Cooperation University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Financial Economic College of Azerbaijan). The BEU team, which won the competition with 3 teams, stopped competing in the quarterfinals.

The competitions dedicated to the Victory Day are organized by the Ministry of Education, the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation, the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA) and the Public Union of the Azerbaijan Student Football Federation. In the first stage of the competition, the teams compete, divided into 8 sub-groups with draw. The next stages cover the play-offs, semifinals and finals. The final stage of the tournament will take place on December 23. The teams of the first, second and third places will be awarded diplomas, cups and prize.
