Baku Engineering University (BEU) has been represented in the next training program held in Madrid, Spain within the Erasmus+ project called "Establishment of Rectors' Conference in Azerbaijan" (ECAR).
The purpose of the visit, which was attended by BEU vice-Rectors - Vugar Hasanov and Mikayil Zeynalov, was to study the experience of those countries with the participation of the Spanish Rectors' Conference on student and graduate affairs and Spanish higher education institutions, as well as partners from France, Poland and Lithuania.
On the first day of training-seminars held at Charles III University, the speech of the General Secretary of the Spanish Rectors' Conference, Maria Teresa, was heard, and a presentation on the place and role of the Conference in the Spanish higher education system, its structure, activities, and relevant committees was shown. At the same time, the importance of a new strategic vision, including intersectoral relations and coordination, in matters of work with students in Spanish universities was noted.
As part of the training, a question-and-answer session was organized, useful exchanges of ideas were held with foreign experts.
The ECAR project, which belongs to the "Strengthening of Potential in Higher Education" activity category of the "Erasmus+" program of the European Union, is implemented with the financial support of the European Commission.
