BEU Vice-Rector meets with students of the girls' dormitory

A meeting has been held with students of the girls' dormitory of Baku Engineering University (BEU). The main purpose of the meeting, which was attended by the heads of relevant departments, was to listen to the students living here, investigate their concerns and take appropriate measures.

Speaking at the meeting, Bayram Huseynzada, BEU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, said that appropriate works were being done at the University to provide students with dormitories to meet the latest requirements. The dormitories for both boys and girls have all the necessary conditions for students to live and spend their free time effectively. All floors have rest areas and study rooms. The vice-rector added that there are assembly and fitness halls, a gym equipped with modern equipment for students to play sports, a table tennis hall as well as basketball, volleyball and football stadiums located inside the campus.

B.Huseynzada also stressed that security, strict discipline in dormitories, as well as food security were always in the center of attention.

At the meeting, the students touched upon the issues of concern to them and expressed their opinions and suggestions.

The vice-rector commented on the proposals. A number of issues raised were resolved and some proposals requiring investigation were registered.

In the end, the students thanked the University administration for organizing such a meeting.
