"Science Week" will be organized by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Baku Engineering University (BEU). The event, traditionally held in the first half of February each year, this time will take place online due to the current coronavirus pandemic. 

A series of events is planned as part of Science Week. During these events, information will be provided on the analysis of the state of scientific activity of faculties, effective use of Web of Science and Scopus databases, as well as trainings will be held on opening and effective use of individual researcher profiles.

Speakers from different institutions will be invited to the events, and an exchange of views on the 1-year scientific activity of the faculties will be held.

In addition to the publishing activities of faculty members on the bases of Web of Science and Scopus, the rules of rewarding employees with publications in prestigious scientific journals adopted at the last meeting of the Scientific Council will be discussed at the event. Moreover, further strengthening of the scientific activity of BEU will be widely discussed.

It is planned to hold events on February 10, 2021 at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at 11 AM, and at Education Faculty at 2 PM, while on February 11, 2021 at Engineering Faculty at 11 AM, and at the Faculty of Architecture and Construction at 1 PM.
