An agreement on cooperation has been signed between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and "Smolny University" Corporation operating in Russia.

The document signed by Yagub Piriyev, Rector of BEU, and Heydar Imanov, Rector of the Institute, covers many directions for the purpose of developing cooperation in the fields of personnel training, scientific research and entrepreneurship.

The agreement contains provisions such as the preparation of highly qualified engineers and scientific-pedagogical personnel, the implementation of scientific-research works dedicated to the solution of current issues in various fields of science and technology, and the development and implementation of projects on the development of entrepreneurial activity.

At the signing ceremony, issues related to future cooperation were reviewed and mutual opinions were exchanged.
