BEU to Collaborate with Indonesian University

A meeting was held between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Surabaya State University of the Republic of Indonesia.

During the online meeting, BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul stated that the emerging relations and cooperation steps between the two higher education institutions are gratifying. The Vice-Rector provided detailed information about the university's academic structure, research-oriented activities, taught specialties, and projects implemented in international relations, also noting that BEU is interested in developing student and faculty exchange programs with foreign higher education institutions.  

Professor Lisa Lisdiana from Indonesia's Surabaya State University, in turn, delivered a comprehensive presentation about her institution. The presentation extensively covered the university's academic potential, scientific research fields, and international cooperation opportunities offered to students and faculty.   

During the meeting, future cooperation prospects between the two universities were discussed in detail, particularly the organization of student exchange programs, implementation of joint scientific research projects, and academic experience exchange issues. The parties emphasized the importance of cooperation for improving education quality, enabling students and faculty to gain international experience, and strengthening inter-university relations.

At the conclusion, preliminary agreement was reached on developing cooperation between BEU and Surabaya State University and implementing joint projects.
