Employees of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have attended an online meeting with the teams (students and mentors) participating in “CGMA Emerging Leaders Competition 2020”.

Discussions were held with “South Africa CGMA Emerging Leaders Competition 2019” champion team members. During the discussions, the winners shared their experiences, answered questions of “CGMA Emerging Leaders Competition 2020” participants, and wished them success at the competition. 

Moreover, a detailed exchange of views was held on the team building, preparation of presentations and benefits of joining the competition. The importance of ability to work in a team, industry knowledge, and group dynamics was emphasized. 

98 teams representing 21 universities from 8 countries participated in “CGMA Emerging Leaders Competition 2020”. BEU will be represented by 5 teams at the competition. The teams will be prepared for the competition by mentors under the leadership of Fuzuli Aliyev, the Head of Finance Department, Ph.D. in Economics.

It should be noted that after the first round of the three-round competition that is intended to be held on September 11-17, all winning teams will complete an online quiz on September 18 which will later be followed by the second round on October 5-9 and the final round in October and November in Warsaw, Poland.
