A Technology Transfer Center (TTC) has been launched at Baku Engineering University (BEU) Technopark.

The purpose of the center's establishment is to strengthen the work of the Technopark, create more favorable conditions for the establishment of startup companies, and achieve the presentation and application of ideas and results of commercial value to the industry. Moreover, the TTC will deal with issues of working with companies, involving academic staff and students in applied projects, and generally preparing various cooperation projects, contributing to the development of the country's innovation activity and the establishment of effective mutual relations between universities, industry and business organizations.

It should be noted that TTC is mainly formed within universities and technoparks, as well as in enterprises that attach importance to research and development activities. In the knowledge economy, the relevance of TTCs is increasing even more; they create a basis for the formation of added value by establishing cooperation with universities, entrepreneurs, investors, industrialists and other stakeholders, ensuring the effective use of knowledge.
