"ROBOXIDE" and "A-MAZE" teams of Baku Engineering University (BEU) students, who participated in the "Robotex Türkiye" National Championship held in Antalya, Türkiye on April 20-21, 2024, have won the first place.
"ROBOXIDE", which achieved great success in the semi-final stage of the world's largest robotics competition, "Roboxide", won the first place in the "1 Kg-Lego Sumo" category, while "A-MAZE" the first place in the "Maze solving" category. Certificates of the "Robotex Türkiye" National Championship were presented to the teams.
More than 400 teams and more than 2,500 participants from different countries of the world participated in "Robotex Türkiye" in 19 different categories. The winning teams won the right to participate in the world championship - the "Robotex International" festival, which will be held in November of this year. Founded by the Estonian organization of the same name, the festival not only brings together the leaders of the technology industry, but also offers great opportunities to young engineers, students and apprentices who want to mature and develop in this field. The global-scale festival serves to increase interest in science and guide young people to study engineering specialties.
