Teams of employees of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have showed successful results in the spartakiad dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and held among the employees of higher educational institutions.

Thus, BEU teams took II place in checkers, III place in volleyball competition, III place in football competition, and V place in chess competition.

11 leading universities of our country participated in the spartakiade organized by the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Azerbaijan Education Workers in 6 types of sports.

Spartakiad was organized in order to form a healthy lifestyle among the employees of the country's universities, to involve them in physical education and sports, to promote the popularity of sports, and to spend their free time effectivelyb.
