Students of Baku Engineering University (BEU) have won the final round of the “PASHA Bank Cup II” programming competition held online. Thus, in the final round among 40 people, Rashad Mammadov, graduate student at BEU, majoring in Management Information System, won first place in the professionals category, while Ulvi Aslanli and Nijad Huseynov, undergrduate students of Computer Engineering Department, took II nd III places in student category, accordingly. Moreover, in the category of schoolchildren, the schoolchildren trained by Rashad Mammadov - Murad Eynizada took the 1st place, Aziz Huseynov the 2nd place, Huseyn Hajiyev the 3rd place.
In the final round, participants were instructed to compile program of 6 algorithmic problems in 4 hours and test them on the HackerRank platform. According to the results of the competition, the winners were determined in three categories (professional, student, schoolchildren).
The winners received certificates and valuable gifts from PASHA Bank.
It should be noted that a total of 322 people in various categories participated in the 4 online qualifying rounds of the competition and 56 people qualified for the finals.
